Top Shelf Bartending Academy believes in building a community of bartenders who are experts in their fields. Learning in a group will help people become aware of managing different temperaments in a closed space. With our real-life group lessons, you will learn how to serve customers by standing behind a bar and mixing drinks for your friends, colleagues, and customers. Just like our one on one classes, you are able to attend group classes with your friends/family at your own pace during our hours of operation.
Custom training for restaurants, bars, & clubs
We do offer custom on-site training for restaurants, bars, and clubs. This training would be separate from our regular programs. We would setup a consultation with the establishments owners / managers and create a custom training unique to your establishment and its needs. We can train your staff/management on profit pouring, the top drinks of the industry, custom drinks, marketing, advertising, etiquette, and creating higher customer retention.
Managing Liquor Laws
Alcohol awareness is our priority. We will teach you how to handle liquor laws and liability while communicating effectively with your first-time customers. Our students know how to cut off customers without seeming rude. It is mandatory that you know and abide by all Liquor Laws. The RBS Training that you’ll complete will go into depth over this. RBS Training is now MANDATORY in California.
By the end of the training, you will be confident in your skills as a bartender. Our graduates get accepted into the top bars and make a career out of bartending. Many of our graduates’ average five hundred dollars each shift working at their favorite restaurants and bars.
We have flexible schedules for students who want to attend college or hold a day job while becoming a bartender. We offer an 80-hour course that helps people get a better grasp of the bartending experience.
